Getting started
How do I get started with Tender POS?
Create an account, connect your Shopify store or Medusa backend, and link your payment provider. Your catalog syncs automatically; bind a terminal to your location and you can ring up your first sale the same day.
Which e-commerce platforms do you support?
Shopify and Medusa are supported today. WooCommerce and Magento are on the roadmap. Your platform stays the source of truth while Tender POS mirrors the supported catalog, inventory, customers, discounts, locations, and orders for the counter.
What hardware do I need?
An iPad or iPhone for the Tender POS app and a supported terminal from your payment provider. Add a receipt printer if you hand out paper receipts — that's it.
Payments & terminals
Which payment providers do you support?
Mollie, PAY.nl, and Adyen. Tender POS drives their terminals directly, and the rates in your existing provider contract apply untouched.
Can I take cash as well as card?
Yes. Cash payments are built in, with drawer sessions and end-of-day counts, so cash and card sales land in the same reporting.
How do refunds work?
Start a refund from the sale on your POS. Card refunds go back through the terminal automatically, and the refund syncs to your commerce platform — no logging into other systems.
Do I need to change my PSP contract?
No. Tender POS works with the contract you already have. We don't process payments ourselves and we don't take a cut — we connect your terminals to your store.
Pricing & billing
How does pricing work?
€15 per €10,000 processed, and your first €10,000 is free. No subscriptions, no per-register fees, no cut of your transactions — your PSP's own rates apply directly. That's the whole price.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees. Stop whenever you like — your store and your PSP contract are unaffected.
Reliability & security
What if Shopify is slow or down?
Your register doesn't wait on it. Tender POS reads from a synced local mirror of your catalog, so scanning and checkout stay fast — and sales push back automatically once your platform is reachable again.
Is my payment data secure?
Card details never touch Tender POS — payments are handled entirely by your terminal and payment provider. Your store credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and every organization's data is isolated.
