Connect your Leat loyalty program so cashiers can look up members, redeem rewards, and award points on in-store purchases — right from the register.
Before you start
- An active Leat business account with a loyalty program set up.
- At least one shop in Leat (Business Dashboard → Admin → Shops) linked to your loyalty program.
- Time required: about 5 minutes.
What you'll need
| Field | Where to find it | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Personal access token | Leat Business Dashboard → Marketplace → Private Apps → create (or open) a private app → Personal Access Token | Lets Tender POS talk to your Leat account securely |
That's the only value you type in. After the token is checked, Tender POS reads your shops straight from Leat and you simply pick your shop from a list — no IDs to copy around.
Heads up: Leat shows the personal access token only once, right when you create it. Copy it somewhere safe before closing the dialog. If you lose it, just create a new token and reconnect.
Steps
- In Tender POS, go to Settings → Integrations → Leat and open the Leat card.
- Paste your personal access token and click Connect Leat. Tender POS validates it right away — if something's wrong you'll see exactly what to fix and where in the Leat dashboard to go.
- Under Loyalty settings, pick your default shop from the list of shops we loaded from your Leat account, then click Save settings.
- Under Location bindings, map each POS location to the Leat shop it should award points at: choose the POS location, pick the Leat shop, and click Add binding.
Advanced settings (optional)
Most merchants never need these — they all have working defaults:
| Setting | Default | When to change it |
|---|---|---|
| API URL | https://api.leat.com/api/v3 |
Only if Leat support gives you a different address |
| Webhook secret | not set | If you enable Leat webhooks, paste the signing secret from Leat Business Dashboard → Webhooks so we can verify events really come from Leat |
| Accrual unit | purchase_amount |
If your loyalty program awards points on a custom unit (Leat Business Dashboard → Loyalty & Rewards → Units) |
| Accrual mode | Provider sale | Only on advice — controls how a sale's point amount is calculated |
| Leat register + register access token (per location binding) | not set | Only if your Leat account uses register-scoped access tokens. Leat doesn't offer a way for us to list registers automatically, so if you need this, copy the register and its token from Leat Business Dashboard → Apps → Integrations → Cash registers |
What happens after you connect
- Cashiers can look up loyalty members at the register by email, card, or phone, see their points balance, and redeem rewards.
- Purchases at bound POS locations award points in Leat automatically.
- To confirm it worked: the Leat card shows Connected with your shop's name, and a test lookup of a known member at the register returns their balance.
- Something off? Email support@tenderpos.io and we'll take a look.
